Batangas & Quezon

First, we went to Batangas to check out the place called San Roque Beach Resort but we didn't like it that much so we went to Balai Isabel to check out the place too, but the room that we wanted was taken already and we didn't like the free room so we looked for another place to stay, and we ended up sleeping in Microtel which I think is a good place to sleep because they don't overcharge and it's safe there. We were supposed to go to the crater lake in Taal but the weather didn't permit us, sure, you can go there when it's raining and stuff, but you also have to be wise, so it's better if you go there when it's sunny, just to be safe. So here are the pictures from Batangas.

Contrary to popular belief, that is not the volcano.

Thorns.

Some cool stuff from Balai Isabel.

Then the next day we went to Villa Escudero in Quezon. I find Villa Escudero nice but it's kinda weird. It's not a place that I would like to come back to. So we parked the car, then paid, then rode the kalabaw thing, I felt really sad for the carabao. First of all, I am heavy and I'm afraid to break the carabao's neck. And it wasn't only me that rode that kalabaw thingy, there were 8 of us. Our creator is good, the carabao survived. So there, I opted to walk but all of them were riding the kalabaw thingy, so I just shut my mouth and rode the kalabaw thingy feeling bad. And when we were riding the kalabaw thing, there were people singing Filipino ancient songs, I really didn't like this whole thing.

Not only that, there were also legal loggers there. I don't like people who destroys nature and to think that they were cutting those trees, they weren't planting new trees. Grr.

It's prettier like this. Untouched.

After that, we went to the waterfalls, on the foot of the waterfalls, there were tables for eating, buffet table, I also didn't like this because they are polluting the water. Some of the garbage were falling on the water.

Then after that waterfall thing, we went to see the show, but we didn't quite like it, so we just went to "Lawa ng Labasin", it's really really nice. We went rafting, it was fun. I was rafting with my sister, and my mom was super scared because I'm into adventures and she thought that I'll bring my sister to the end of the river, well, I'll never do that, I'd rather go there alone than bring harm to other people who's not into crazy adventures. I think me and my sister were raftin for about 10 minutes only or less. And the river was quite deep, 30 feet. Well, yeah, it's kinda mind bugging, I understand my mom.

After rafting, we went to the museum, we were fortunate that the museum was open, because it was only open during weekends. Ok, so here's the thing, the museum, the outside of it, I mean the design of the museum, is like a replica of San Agustin Church here in Manila. I don't understand the logic here. Well, anyway, we went in, there were lots of interesting stuffs in it and some were weird. And you can't take pictures inside, so I have no pictures. There were lots of preserved animals there. I felt bad for the preserved animals, they could've lived freely in the wild but they were captured and preserved unfortunately. There were also lots of things related to Catholicism, and people from the past, like rulers, different clothing from different countries, different spoons from some 200 plus countries, and lots of memorabilias, I really don't want to flashback on that certain place because I was kinda freaked out. Even though I didn't like the place that much, I learned a lot of stuff from it. So there, thank you to the Escudero clan.

The place was nice, these are just my opinions. Other people find it very nice. So just find out for yourself. It's just not my cup of tea.
